Frank enjoyed all of the new jobs he was given.  He started to develop his hill climbing muscles trail riding in the mountains with lots of steep terrain.  We crossed rivers, bridges, logging operations and he never missed a beat.

I felt like he was entering the 2^nd phase of his show career by trying our hand at the MFT affiliate shows in the versatility arena. He was happy and loving it!!

He was a perfect gentlemen on the trail, no matter how many horses are around. Frank received lots of oohs and ahhs from the other riders. Most were shocked to learn he was a stallion because of his calm, quiet temperament! 

I let numerous people ride him who have never been on a Missouri Foxtrotter and they are now shopping for foxtrotters of their own!

He was proving to be quite the promotional representative for the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed in Washington state.  He will be missed by all that had the pleasure of meeting him.

We lost our friend on Sunday, March 4^th, 2007 very suddenly and unexpectedly. We are devastated and our hearts ache for his “family” in Missouri – Gib & Fran Forester, Rex & Florine Barham and Vance Vahle. We want to thank everyone for their kindness during this very difficult time – it has been amazing how many people were touched by Frank. It is that quality that makes it so hard to put words on paper that express what Frank meant to us and to all of the friends he made in his life. Frank was a people magnet, not just because he was gorgeous, but because of his wonderful personality. He was not a horse people could just walk by, they had to touch him and watch him. Understanding that is why we felt we had to share him – we couldn’t just keep him to ourselves. We shared him with so many people; letting them brush him and love him and ride him. Many of our fondest memories will be the joy he brought to children and people who had never had the pleasure of meeting a fox trotter, let alone riding one. Frank was kind, gentle and loving, 24 hours a day – 7 days a week and we often thought, if people could live by his example, what a wonderful world this would be. We knew he was a champion in the show ring, but it was outside of the ring that he was the grandest champion. Frank was a dream come true and we were blessed to be owned by such a magnificent horse.
